IBM Moves Individual Atoms to Create 'World's Smallest Movie'

A Man and his Atom is a stop-motion video about a man composed of single atoms, who is dancing, playing with an atom and bouncing on a trampoline. It is verified as the 'World's Smallest Movie' by Guinness World Records.
IBM researchers used their own invention, a scanning tunneling microscope, the first device to enable visualization of the world all the way down to single atoms. The device has a needle that can work on a nano scale, moving atoms and molecules to a precisely specified location on a copper surface.
