Disney's Oz: The Great and Powerful, directed by Sam Raimi, is a prequel to The Wizard of Oz, the classic from the distant 1939. It tells the story of how Oscar Diggs, a “small-time circus magician with few ethics” first arrived in the land of Oz and how he became the great and powerful wizard. James Franco is Oz and Mila Kunis is Theodora, the wicked witch of the west. The film opens in theaters on March 8, 2013.
