This sharp telescopic image is from NASA's Astronomy Picture of the Day Archive. Taken on July 15th, 2012, it features a predawn sky with the bright Jupiter next to the slender, waning crescent of the Moon.
Lined up left to right beyond the dark lunar limb are Callisto, Ganymede, Jupiter, Io, and Europa. In fact, Callisto, Ganymede, and Io are larger than Earth's Moon, while Europa is only slightly smaller.
